I’m an Emmy award-winning editor who knows how to turn hours of footage into moments that make audiences lean in, laugh, hold their breath, and come back for more. In 2014 I won the Emmy Award for Outstanding, Unstructured Reality Editing on Deadliest Catch and in 2021, I was honored again with an Emmy Award nomination for the ACE Eddie Award for Best Editing in a Reality Series.
Today, I’m proud to be an active member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) and to serve on the prestigious ACE Internship Board, where I help the next generation of editors find their footing in this wonderfully chaotic industry. For me, editing has always been more than cutting pictures together; it’s about finding the humanity in the footage and connecting people to it.

When I’m not in the office, I spend my time with my wife and our two daughters—which usually means I’m either driving somewhere, carrying something, or being asked to settle an argument I definitely wasn’t involved in.
We love to travel as a family, explore new places, and make the most of any excuse to get away. I’m also a big reader, a fan of the beach, a serious foodie, and always up for a trip to Disneyland or Universal Studios. I’m the guy who will happily plan a vacation around where we’re going to eat—and then build the rest of the itinerary around it.
And when we want to slow things down, Cambria is our go-to. It’s one of my favorite vacation spots—great food, beautiful scenery, and the perfect place to relax and pretend I’m not checking my phone for work.
